Sohl DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Lisa Stipkovich A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency was posted at 3:30 p.m. on April 21, 1989 at the Civic Center kiosk, containing all items as shown herein. Chairman Hunter called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 2:35 p.m. MINUTES: Approval of the minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $31,917.56, in accordance with the 1988 -89 Budget, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Agency Member Hunter, seconded by Agency Member Kaywood, the following actions were authorized in accordance with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda: 1. 161.123: Approving a First Amendment to the Negotiation Agreement with Lincoln Property Company (Parcels 4D, 14 and 22) extending the negotiation period by 90 days until July 13, 1989, to finalize basic concept drawings and the terms of the disposition price. 2. 161: Receiving and filing the quarterly status report for January through March 1989. 3. 161.123: RESOLUTION NO. ARA89 -3: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF COOPERATION AGREEMENT NOS. 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 55, 56, 57, 58 AND 61 FOR RIGHT -OF -WAY PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND RELATED WORK WITH THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. Agency Members Daly and Pickler posed questions relative to Cooperation Agreements No. 48 and 51 which involved traffic signals at Broadway and Clementine and Broadway and Melrose Streets which were answered by Lisa Stipkovich, Director of Community Development and Gary Johnson, Director of Public Works /City Engineer. City Attorney White also clarified that the agreements are only for purposes of reimbursing the City by the Redevelopment Agency for the cost of public improvements that benefit the Redevelopment Project area. The approval does not in and of itself authorize the projects but take separate approval. In some cases, however, the projects have been approved and are installed. In other cases the agreements will be coming before the Agency at a later date in order to install the improvements. If the Agency chooses not to go forward at that time, the project will not be accomplished. . MAI 6V Anaheim Civic Center, ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY Uril 25, 1989, 2:30 P.M. MOTIONS CARRIED. 161.123: REOUEST TO ALLOW NON- THEATRICAL EVENTS AT FREEDMAN FORUM: To consider a request from King of California to allow on a onetime basis, Muay Thai Kick - boxing, a non - theatrical event, to be held on Friday, June 9, 1989, at the Freedman Forum. To consider a request from King of California to allow professional boxing, a non - theatrical event, to be held on two Wednesdays, September 20, and December 6, 1989, at the Freedman Forum. Submitted were reports dated April 13, 1989 from the Community Development Department. City Clerk Sohl announced that she received a telephone request from Jim Woodin, Manager, Celebrity Theatre (Freedman Forum) for a one -week continuance since he is unable to attend the meeting today. MOTION: Agency Member Hunter moved to continue the subject request to Tuesday, May 2, 1989. Agency member Daly seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST: No items of public interest were addressed. ADJOURNMENT: Agency Member Hunter moved to adjourn. Agency Member Kaywood seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
