Chairman Seymour called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency to order.
MINUTES On motion by Mrs. Kaywood, seconded by Mr. Overholt, minutes'of
the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency regular meetings held April 3 and 10,
1979, were approved with correction to the April 10 minutes, page 79 -44,
second p from the bottom, to read: "Mrs. Kaywood requested to be
informed in advance which method of mailing would be least expensive,
mailing the brochure with the utility billings, or sending it separately
by direct mail." To this motion Mr. Kott voted "No." MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount
of $113,719.70, in accordance with the 1978 -79 Budget, were approved.
161.128: FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, PERIOD ENDING FEBRUARY 28, 1979 On
motion by Mr. Kott, seconded by Mr. Roth, Redevelopment Agency Financial
Statements for Redevelopment Project Alpha were ordered received and
filed, as recommended by the Executive Director. MOTION CARRIED.
161.158: RELOCATION COSTS, CASE NO. 0 -488 On motion by Mr. Kott,
seconded by Mr. Roth, payment of relocation costs was authorized in an
amount not to exceed $15,987.92 in Case No. 0 -488, as recommended by the
Executive Director. MOTION CARRIED.
161.158: ABANDONMENT OF PERSONAL PROPERTY On the report and recommend-
ation by the Executive Director, abandonment of certain personal property
remaining at 139 South Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, California, consisting
of one air conditioning unit, roof mounted, including wiring duct work,
estimated 7k -ton unit, was authorized on motion by Mrs. Kaywood, seconded
by Mr. Kott. MOTION CARRIED.

161.123: EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO NEGOTIATE AGREEMENTS - WILLIAM
BRASHEARS AND DAVID COLLINS ROBERT DRABKIN Pursuant to
the Executive Director that Mr. William Brashears was unable to be
present this date, Mr. Roth moved that action on.Agre.ements for
exclusive right to negotiate for certain parcels within Redevelopment
Project Alpha be continued one week (April 24, 1979). Mr. Overholt
seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
161.123: AGREEMENT WITH DAVIS- DUHAIME ASSOCIATES FOR ARCHITECTURAL
SERVICES - GEORGE WASHINGTON SCHOOL MODIFICATION Mr. Priest reported
on proposal submitted by Davis - Dulhaime Associates to architect-
ural services for the modification of George Washington School in
connection with the realignment of Lincoln Avenue. He advised that
out of seven requests for proposals, two architects responded, with
Davis - Dulhaime Associates the low bidder.
On motion by Mr. Seymour, seconded by Mr. Overholt, proposal submitted
by Davis - Dulhaime Associates was accepted and the Agency Counsel was
directed to prepare a contract therefor, with the Chairman and Secre-
tary authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Agency.
MOTION CARRIED.
161.158: AMENDMENT TO SALE PRICES - AGENCY FIXTURES AND EQUIPMENT,
LOTS 11 AND 13, SALE 78 -6 AND LOT 1, SALE 79 -1 In accordance with
report and recommendation by the Executive Director, Mr. Overholt
offered Resolution No. ARA79 -31 for adoption, approving an amendment
to the sale price of Agency fixtures and equipment for Lot Nos. 11
and 13, Sale 78 -6 and Lot No. 1, Sale 79 -1. Refer to Resolution Book.
RESOLUTION NO. ARA79 -31 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY APPROVING AND ACCEPTING MODIFICATIONS OF CERTAIN PRICES TO

AFTER RECESS Chairman Seymour called the meeting to order at
1 :27 P.M., all Agency Members being present.
161.121: FINAL ORDER OF CONDEMNATION SUPERIOR COURT CASE
NO. 28- 43 -99 In accordance with recommendation by the Executive
Director and the City Attorney, Mr. Seymour moved that the firm of
Oliver, Stoever and Laskin be authorized to settle condemnation in
Superior Court Case No. 28- 43 -99, in the amount of $542,000, includ-
ing interest of 7% per annum, and further, to prepare and file the
Final Order of Condemnation. (Hobson) Mr. Kott seconded the motion.
Mr. Roth abstained. MOTION CARRIED.
