161.123: AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF ANAHEIM - SALE OF GEORGE WASH-
INGTON SCHOOL On report and recommendation by the Executive
Director, Mr. Bay offered Resolution No. ARA79 -102 for adoption.
Refer to Resolution Book.
In response to questions by Mr. Roth, Mr. Priest reported that the
amount to be paid for the property_ was established by appraisal,
the property being reappraised on the basis of the value of the
site minus the front wings, but including the remodeling work in
progress.
RESOLUTION NO. ARA79 -102 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOP-
MENT AGENCY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A BUY AND SELL
AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR THE SELLING OF THE GEORGE
WASHINGTON SCHOOL FOR USE AS A NEIGHBORHOOD COMMUNITY CENTER, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN AND SECRETARY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.

161.158: RELOCATION CLAIMS PENDING OVER A 90 -DAY PERIOD No
relocation claims pending over a 90 -day period were reported.
161.158: RELOCATIONS COSTS - CASE NO. 200T -B On motion by
Mr. Seymour, seconded by Mr. Overholt, payment of relocation costs
was authorized in an amount not to exceed $57,150.21 in Case
No. 200T -B, as recommended by the Executive Director. Mrs. Kaywood
was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
161.118: CLAIMS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY On
motion by Mr. Bay, seconded by Mr. Overholt, the following claims
were denied, and the employment of Carl Warren and Company for
investigation, if necessary, was authorized:
1) Claim submitted by Pacific Telephone for damages to facilities
sustained purportedly as a result of work being done'for the City
of Anaheim on or about August 14, 1979.
2) Application for Leave to Present Late Claim submitted by Ron
Wilkinson dba Wilkinson Construction, for damages sustained purpor -.
tedly as a result of breach of-contract by the Redevelopment Agency,
on or about May 21, 1979. Mrs. Kaywood was absent. MOTION CARRIED.

EXECUTIVE SESSION On motion by Mr. Overholt, seconded by Mr. Roth,
the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency recessed to Executive Session.

AFTER RECESS Chairman Seymour reconvened the regular meeting of
the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency. (1:28 P.M.)
161.121: FINAL ORDER OF CONDEMNATION - SUPERIOR COURT CASE
NO. 28- 57 -13 In accordance with recommendations by the Executive
Director and the City Attorney, Mr. Seymour moved that the firm of
Oliver, Stoever and Laskin be authorized to settle condemnation in
Superior Court Case No. 28- 57 -13, in an amount not to exceed
$108,000, including interest, and further, to prepare and file the
Final Order of Condemnation. Mrs. Kaywood seconded the motion.
MOTION CARRIED.
161.121: FINAL ORDER OF CONDEMNATION - SUPERIOR COURT CASE
NO. 28- 44 -96 In accordance with recommendations by the Executive
°— Director and the City Attorney, Mr. Seymour moved that the firm of
Oliver, Stoever and Laskin be authorized to settle condemnation in
Superior Court Case No. 28- 44 -96, in an amount not to exceed
$97,700, including interest and in satisfaction of all claims, and
further, to prepare and file the Final Order of Condemnation.
Mr. Overholt seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
161.121: FINAL ORDER OF CONDEMNATION - SUPERIOR COURT CASE
NO. 28- 59 -17 In accordance with recommendations by the Executive
Director and the City Attorney, Mr. Seymour moved that the firm of
Oliver, Stoever and Laskin be authorized to settle condemnation in
Superior Court Case No. 28- 59 -17, in an amount not to exceed
$60,000, including interest, and further, to prepare and file the
Final Order of Condemnation. Mr. Overholt seconded the motion.
MOTION CARRIED.
161.121: FINAL ORDER OF CONDEMNATION - SUPERIOR COURT CASE
NO. 27- 26 -86 :. In accordance with recommendations by the Executive
Director and the City Attorney, Mr. Seymour moved that the firm of
Oliver, Stoever and Laskin be authorized to settle condemnation in
Superior Court Case No. 27- 26 -86, in an amount not to exceed
$1,500, and further, to prepare and file the Final Order of Condem-
nation. Mr. Bay seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
161.157: APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS - ROBERT BENTLEY
PROPERTY On motion by Mr. Seymour, seconded by Mrs. Kaywood,
consideration of final construction drawings for the development

proposed at the northeast corner of Harbor Boulevard and Lincoln
Avenue was continued to October. -16 , 1979, to allow the
architect for the project an opportunity to be present. MOTION

ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency, Mr. Bay moved to adjourn. Mrs. Kay
wood seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
