Chairman Seymour called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
to order.
MINUTES Approval of minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
$121,908.23, in accordance with the 1979 -80 Budget, were approved.
161.128: AUDIT REPORT - REDEVELOPMENT RELOCATION ACCOUNT In accordance with
-- recommendations by the Executive Director, Mrs. Kaywood moved that the Audit
Report of the Redevelopment Relocation Account dated May 19, 1980, be ordered
received and filed. Mr. Roth seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
161.123: PLACENTIA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT PAYMENT In accordance with report and
recommendation by the Executive Director, and pending an amended agreement,
Mr. Overholt moved that payment in the amount of $487,550 to the Placentia Unified
School District be authorized as partial payment of the Redevelopment Agency's
contractual obligation to the District. Mr. Seymour seconded the motion. MOTION
CARRIED.
161.107: FINAL ACCEPTANCE DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARANCE - CONTRACT NO. D79-20
In accordance with the certificate filed by the Executive Director, Mrs. Kaywood
offered Resolution No. ARA80 -15 for adoption. Refer to Resolution Book.
RESOLUTION NO. ARA80 -15 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
ACCEPTING THE COMPLETION AND FURNISHING OF ALL PLANT, LABOR, SERVICES, MATERIALS
AND EQUIPMENT AND ALL UTILITIES AND TRANSPORTATION INCLUDING POWER, FUEL AND
WATER, AND THE PERFORMANCE OF ALL WORK NECESSARY TO COMPLETE A WORK OF IMPROVEMENT.
(Contract No. D79 -20). (Means & Ulrich: Modifications to former George Washington
School, 233 East Chartres Street)

161.158: RELOCATION CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY No relocation claims pending over
a ninety -day period were reported.
161.174: PROPOSED MORTGAGE REVENUE BOND FINANCING - HEIL AND STOOKEY OFFICE
BUILDING Executive Director Norman Priest briefed the contents of his report
and recommendation to the Agency dated May 23, 1980, concerning the proposed
financing of the Heil and Stookey Office Building through mortgage revenue bonds,
under Senate Bill 99.
Mr. David Casnocha, of the law firm Wilson, Morton, Assaf and McElligott, addressed
the Agency advising that SB 99, Health and:Safety Code 33750, et seq., is a housing
bill which includes single family structures as well as structures used for
commercial and residential purposes. He explained the procedures the Agency would
apply for consideration and designation of a property to qualify for financial
assistance under this mortgage- backed financing program, and issue such bonds.
At the conclusion of the discussion, Mr. Seymour offered Resolutions Nos. ARA80 -16
and ARA80 -17 for adoption. Refer to Resolution Book.
RESOLUTION NO. ARA80 -16 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY TO ISSUE COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT BONDS AND TO RETAIN BOND COUNSEL AND
INVESTMENT BANKER.
RESOLUTION NO. ARA80 -17 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MAKING
CERTAIN FINDINGS RELATING TO THE TAX EXEMPT FINANCING OF THE HEIL- STOOKEY BUILDING.
