Priest REDEVELOPMENT MANAGER: Susan Schick Chairman Seymour called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 1:05 p.m. MINUTES Approval of minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $4,188.06, in accordance with the 1980 -81 Budget, were approved. 161.123: SECOND AMENDMENT - HARBOR CENTER LEASE AGREEMENT Executive -- Director Norman Priest briefly reported on a proposed second amendment to the agreement with the City of Anaheim for lease of real property on Harbor Boulevard for a temporary shopping center (Harbor Center), extend- ing the property lease through April 30, 1981, at a monthly rental fee of $4,250. He advised that the revenue from the four remaining business tenants in the Center would off -set the rent payments. On motion by Mr. Overholt, seconded by Mr. Seymour, second amendment to the lease agreement with the City of Anaheim was approved, and the Chairman and Secretary were authorized to execute said amendment on behalf of the Redevelopment Agency. MOTION CARRIED. 161,123: SECOND AMENDMENT - TRAILER LEASE AGREEMENT PEPSICO BUILDING SYSTEMS, INC .: In accordance with report and recommendation by the Executive Director, Mr. Overholt moved that a second amendment to Trailer Lease Agreement with PepsiCo Building Systems, Inc., for modular buildings in the temporary shopping center on Harbor Boulevard (Harbor Center), be approved, subject to approval by the City of Anaheim of an extension of lease agreement for the real property, and further, that the Chairman and Secretary be authorized to execute said second amendment on behalf of the Redevelopment Agency. Mr. Seymour seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. 161: TOWN CENTER, SAFEWAY STORE OPENING Agency Member Overholt advised of his attendance at the grand opening of the Safeway food market in the Town Center (the southwest corner, Lincoln Avenue and Anaheim Boulevard), commenting on the large crowd in attendance and the large volume of sales noted. He pointed out that the Town Center was one of the major private developments in the Redevelopment Program, and it appeared that the Center was to be a success. 81 -10 ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY JANUARY 27, 1981, 1:00 P.M.
