Chairman Thom called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing
Authority to order.
MINES: On motion by Mrs. Kaywood, seconded by Mr. Roth, the
minutes for the regular meeting held August 2, 1977 were approved.
MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the
amount of $1,677.29, in accordance with the 1977 -78 Budget, were
approved.
177.160: PURCHASE OF TWO COMPACT STATION WAGONS - BID NO. 3276.: Mr.
Thom noted from the tabulation sheet that McPeek Plymouth was not
the lowest bidder.
Mr. Talley explained that the low bid of McCoy Ford did not meet
specifications, in that Housing requested 4 -door compact station
wagons and they quoted 2 -door. Therefore, bid of McPeek Plymouth
was recommended as the lowest responsible bidder.
Housing Manager Lisa Stipkovich added that the 4 -door station wagons
are preferred for the transporting of elderly and handicapped tenants.
On motion by Mr. Roth, seconded by Mrs. Kaywood, the bid of McPeek
Plymouth was accepted and purchase authorized in the approximate
amount of $10,505.24, including tax, as recommended in memorandum
dated August 2, 1977 from the Purchasing Agent. MOTION CARRIED.
