93-135 RESOLUTION NO. 93R-135
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING
THE AMOUNT OF THE PARK IN-LIEU FEE
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 92R-
128.
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance
establishing a formula for determining park and recreation land
or in-lieu fee requirements for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the following fees to be charged are
reasonable and do not exceed the actual cost of acquisition and
development of parks in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines
that the average cost of park development is One Hundred Thirty
Six Thousand Eight Hundred Four Dollars ($136,804.00) per acre
and the average cost of park land acquisition is Four Hundred
Ninety-Four Thousand Dollars ($494,000.00) per acre.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the city of Anaheim that the park in-lieu fee to be paid as a
condition of development of each residential unit is:
1. Single Family Detached Unit $4,239.00
2. Single Family Attached Unit $3,292.80
3. Apartment Units - 2 to 4 $4,276.85
4. Apartment Units - 5 or more $3,305.41
5. Mobilehome Unit $2,535.83
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall
become operative sixty (60) days following its date of adoption.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 92R-128
shall be rescinded upon the operative date of this Resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of
June , 1993.
