Chairman Thom called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency to order at 1 :03 p.m.
MINUTES Approval of the minutes for the regular meetings held
August 24, 31, and September 7, 1976 and adjourned regular meeting
held August 25, 1976, was deferred one week.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the
amount of $8,068.10, in accordance with the 1976 -77 budget, were
approved.
RECESS Upon request of City Manager Talley, motion was made by Mr.
Roth, seconded by Mr. Kott, to recess into executive session. Mr.
Seymour absent. MOTION CARRIED. (1:05 p.m.)

AFTER RECESS Chairman Thom called the meeting to order at 1:32 p.m.,
all Agency members being present. (Mr. Seymour arrived at 1:10 p.m.)
INTRODUCTION Chairman Thom introduced the newly appointed Executive
Director, Mr. Norman J. Priest, who was present in the audience, and
expressed his appreciation for the time being spent by Mr. Priest
prior to his effective employment date of October 4, 1976.
BUDGET EXTENSION Following brief outline of duties to be performed
by the Executive Director and the Community Development Director in
the following weeks and in order to allow Mr. Priest the time to
develop an appropriate budget for the balance of the year, Community
Development Director Fernald recommended a 60 -day extension of the
Redevelopment Agency budget at the current spending level. He noted
that the modified 90 -day budget approved in June expires at the end
of this month.
On motion by Mrs. Kaywood, seconded by Mr. Kott, a 60 -day extension
of the Redevelopment Agency budget at current spending level, was
granted. MOTION CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT There being no further business before the Anaheim
Redevelopment Agency, Mrs. Kaywood moved to adjourn. Mr. Seymour
seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
