A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
AN ACCOUNT ENTITLED THE "ANAHEIM REDEVELOP-
MENT AGENCY - RELOCATION ASSISTANCE ACCOUNT."
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency is
legally obligated to pay relocation costs to persons
displaced by Agency activities pursuant to Section 7260
et seq. of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 33418 of the Health and Safety
Code provides that records relating to relocation of
displacees of Agency activities are confidential; and
WHEREAS, Agency funds are deposited in a special
account of the City of Anaheim and payments made therefrom
on warrants of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is difficult to assure confidential-
ity of relocation payments if made by warrants of the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim
Redevelopment Agency does hereby authorize the establishment
of an account to be entitled the "Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency - Relocation Assistance Account" in a bank located
in the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman and
Treasurer be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed
to sign such documents as may be necessary to cause the
establishment of the account contemplated hereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that checks or warrants drawn
against said account are to be signed by the Chairman and
Treasurer on behalf of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 1st day of March , 1977.
