94-025 RESOLUTION NO. 94R-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A LE'I-FER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, GENERAL UNIT,
AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Acting Human Resources Director met and conferred with officials and
employee representatives of the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, on the
effects of certain classifications maintaining their Stadium Department seniority date for purposes
of lay-off and reassignment; and
WHEREAS, this resolution applies to employees in the following job classifications:
Lead Golf Course Maintenance Worker
Golf Course maintenance Worker; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the meetings, a Letter of Understanding dated February 10, 1994
delineates an agreement reached concerning the effects of certain classifications maintaining their
Stadium Department seniority dates; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it Is in the best interest
of the City of Anaheim to approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the
Letter of Understanding dated February 10, 1994 between the Anaheim Municipal Employees
Association, General Unit, and the City of Anaheim, a copy of which is hereto attached and
incorporated by reference herein, Is approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City

GENERAL UNIT
AFTER meeting and conferring on the effects of reasslgnlng certain
work from the Stadium Department to the Parks, Recreation and Community
Services Department on or about July 2, 1993 the parties have reached the
following AGREEMENT.
This AGREEMENT applies to employees in the following job
classifications:
Lead Golf Course Maintenance Worker
Golf Course Maintenance Worker
FOR a period of ten years from July 2, 1993 to July 3, 2003, the
employees in the above job classifications shall retain their Stadium
Department seniority date(s) for purposes of lay-off and reassignment.
During this same ten year period employees In the above job classes shall
be considered a department for purposes of applying the provisions of
Article 29, Reassignment, Layoff and Re-employment.
THEREAFTER, the employees in the job classlficatlons listed above
assigned from the Stadium Department to the Parks, Recreation and
Community Services Department on July 2, 1993 shall retain their Stadium
Department seniority as their Parks, Recreation and Community Services
Department seniority date.
The Anaheim Municipal Employees Association and the City of Anaheim
retain the right to discuss this issue in the future under the provisions
of the Discussion Article of the Memorandum of Understanding between the
parties.
