ARA76- 47 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING AN INITIAL STUDY AND FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A SUBSEQUENT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NEED NOT BE PREPARED FOR THE PROPOSED SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH REAL PROPERTY IN THE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT ALPHA. WHEREAS, on November 23, 1976, the Community Redevelopment Commission of the City of Anaheim (the "Commission ") together with the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency ") had certified that the Final Subsequent Environmental Impact Report for the Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project Alpha was prepared and completed in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 ( "CEQA") and State Guide- lines and Agency Procedures for the implementation thereof; and WHEREAS, in order to implement the Redevelopment Plan, as amended, the Agency proposes to enter into a "Contract for Sale of Land for Private Redevelopment" with Shapell Government Housing, Inc., Redeveloper, providing for the sale and development of certain real property (the "Property ") for senior citizen housing in the Project; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Agency's duly adopted Procedures for the implementation of CEQA and the Guidelines of the California Resources Agency, the Agency staff has prepared an Initial Study of Environmental Impact ( "Initial Study ") with respect to said proposed sale and development of the Property; and WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed and considered the findings set forth in said Initial Study. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency as follows: 1. The Agency hereby approves and adopts the Initial Study. 2. The Agency hereby finds and determines that the environmental impacts related to the proposed sale and development on the Property pursuant to the proposed Contract for Sale of Land for Private Redevelopment to be entered into between the Agency and the Redeveloper, were considered under the circumstances presented in the Final Subsequent Environ- mental Impact Report for the Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project Alpha, and that therefore, a subsequent environmental impact report need not be prepared. -1- 3. The Agency hereby certifies that it has reviewed and considered the information contained in the Final Subse- quent Environmental Impact Report and the Initial Study. 4. The Agency hereby finds and determines that the sale and development of the Property will not have a signi- ficant effect or substantial adverse impact on the environ- ment.
