A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY CONSENTING TO A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE PROPOSED SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE RE-
DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
ALPHA AND THE SUBSEQUENT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORT FOR SAID PROPOSED SECOND AMENDMENT AND
AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION AND MAILING OF NOTICE
OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING.
WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law
(Health and Safety Code, Section 33458) authorizes a joint
public hearing on the proposed Second Amendment to the Redevel-
opment Plan for Redevelopment Project Alpha with the consent of
the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency and the City Council of the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Guidelines for the Implementation of the
California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 permit the public
hearing on an environmental impact report to be held in con-
junction with and as part of normal planning activities; and
ViHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Commission of the
City of !�maheim is charged with performing the duties imposed by
Section 33202 of the California Health and Safety Code; and
;THEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Commission by
resolution has consented to a joint public hearing on the pro-
posed Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan and the Subse-
quent Environmental Impact Report for said proposed Second Amend-
ment, and requested that the Redevelopment Agency consent to
such joint public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Anaheim Redevel-
opment Agency as follows:
1. The Anaheim Redevelopment Agency hereby consents to
a joint public hearing on the proposed Second Amend-
ment to the Redevelopment Flan for Redevelopment
Project Alpha and the Subsequent environmental Impact
Report for said Second Amendment, and further hereby
requests that the City Council of the City of Anaheim
consent to a joint public hearing on the proposed
Second Amendment and Subsequent :Environmental Impact
Report and authorize the Clerk of the City of Anaheim
to establish a date for such hearing.
2. The Executive Director shall, in cooperation with the
City Clerk, publish and mail notice of said joint
public hearing at the time, in the manner, and with
the other documents as required and established by law.
3. The executive Director shall forthwith transmit a copy
of this resolution to the City Council of the City of
: knaheim.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
