A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
TO SEEK BIDS FOR THE DEMOLITION AND CLEARANCE
OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND IMPROVEMENTS
ACQUIRED BY THE AGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency has
acquired, and will acquire real property, including buildings,
structures, and improvements; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to cause the
demolition and clearance of said real property, including
buildings, structures and improvements; and
WHEREAS, Section 33422 of the Health and Safety Code
requires the Agency to seek competitive bids before awarding
a contract for demolition and clearing which contract
exceeds Twenty -Five Hundred Dollars ($2500.00); and
WHEREAS, heretofore, the Agency has authorized
solicitation of bids for contracts for demolition and clearance
of each Agency property; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to permit the Executive
Director to solicit competitive bids for contracts for demoli-
tion and clearing of property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim
Redevelopment Agency does hereby authorize the Executive
Director to solicit bids for contracts for the demolition and
clearance of buildings, structures, and improvements owned or
acquired by the Agency, provided however, that the Agency
reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency this 11th day of July ,
1978.
