94-001 RESOLUTION NO. 94R-1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DIRECTING THE FILING AND POSTING OF PREVAILING RATES OF PER DIEM WAGES PERTAINING TO PUBLIC WORKS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim may award contracts for the construction of "public works" as defined in Section 1720 of the Labor Code; and WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, a City formed and operating under a freeholders' charter, has elected to require contractors and subcontractors on public works projects, other than projects for maintenance and repair, to pay workers not less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations; and WHEREAS, Section 1770 of the Labor Code requires the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations to determine the prevailing rate of per diem wages; and WHEREAS, the Director has determined the prevailing ~ate of per diem wages. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby direct the City Clerk to cause to be filed in the office of the City Clerk the schedule of prevailing rates of per diem wages as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, directed to post, or cause to be posted, a copy of this resolution, including Exhibit "A" at each job site. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all prior Resolutions inconsistent with this Resolution are hereby rescinded to the extent of such inconsistency.
