A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS REGARDING
CLAIMS FOR MONEY OR DAMAGES AGAINST THE
ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY.
WHEREAS, Section 905 of the Government Code requires the
presentation of a claim for money or damages against local public
entities; and
WHEREAS, Section 905 of the Government Code excepts certain
claims for money or damages from the requirement that a claim be pre-
sented; and
WHEREAS, Section 935 of the Government Code authorizes
local public entities to establish procedures to govern claims for
money or damages excepted by Section 905 of the Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency does
resolve as follows:
1. There shall be presented to the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency a claim (hereinafter "Claim:) for money or damages for any
claim which is excepted from the filing of a claim by Sections 905
and 905.1 of the Government Code.
2. The presentation by the claimant and action upon such
Claim is a prerequisite to suit thereon pursuant to Section 935 of
the Government Code.
3. Any Claim relating to a cause of action for death or for
injury to person or personal property shall be presented as provided
in Article 2 (commencing with Section 915) of Chapter 2 of Division
3.6 of Title 1 of the Government Code not later than the 100th day
after the accrual of the cause of action.
4. Any Claim relating to any other cause of action, including
causes of action for the taking of or damage to private property
pursuant to Section 19 of Article 1 of the California Constitution,
shall be presented as provided in Article 2 (commencing with Section
915 of Chapter 2 of Division 3.6 of Title 1 of the Government Code
not later than one year after the accrual of the cause of action.
5. Any Claim required to be presented by this resolution
shall be presented and processed in accordance with Article 1 of
Chapter 2 of Division 3.6 of Title 1 of the Government Code (commenc-
ing at Section 910 of the Government Code).

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency this 13th day of January, 1981.
