A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF FIFTY-
FOUR IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS TO THE ORANGE
COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR FUNDING
UNDER THE COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to implement the
transportation improvements listed in Exhibit A attached hereto;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has been declared by the
Orange County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility
requirements to receive Measure M "turnback" funds; and
WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent
with the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will provide matching
funds for each project as required by the Orange County Combined
Transportation Funding Program Procedures Manual; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority
intends to allocate funds for transportation improvement projects
within the incorporated cities and the County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Orange County Transportation
Authority is hereby requested to allocate funds in the amounts
specified in the City's application to the Orange County
Transportation Authority from the Combined Transportation Funding
Programs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City shall provide
matching funds as required, to be used for the improvements of
the streets listed in the attached Exhibit A.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 18thday of October,
1994.
