A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE SECRETARY TO
RECORD THE PROCEEDI'iGS OF ALL EXECUTIVE SES-
SIONS OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, Section 54957.2 of the Government Code of
the State of California authorizes the Anaheim Housing Authority
to designate a clerk or other officer or employee to attend each
executive session of the Anaheim Housing Authority and keep and
enter in a minute book a record of topics discussed and decisions
made at the meeting which may also include a recording of the
executive sessions; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Housing Authority desires to des-
ignate the Secretary to attend all executive sessions of the
Anaheim Housing Authority and to keep a minute book of such pro-
ceedings and to further make a tape recording of such proceedings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Anaheim Housing
Authority that the Secretary, or a designated representative, be,
and the same is hereby, authorized and directed to attend all
executive sessions of the Anaheim Housing Authority and keep
and enter in a minute book a record of topics discussed and de-
cisions made at the meeting in accordance with the confidential-
ity and restrictions specified in Section 54957.2 of the Govern-
ment Code of the State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary, or a desig-
nated representative, be, and the same is hereby, authorized and
directed to make a tape recording of all executive session pro-
ceedings, unless otherwise directed by the Anaheim Housing
Authority, which recordings shall be subject to the same confi-
dentiality and restrictions as are set forth in Section 54957.2
of the Government Code of the State of California. Said record-
ings shall be retained by the Secretary until such time as their
destruction or erasure is authorized by the Anaheim Housing
Authority. The Secretary shall not be required to make a written
transcription of any such recording or any portion thereof, ex-
cept upon the affirmative vote of a majority of the total member-
ship of the Anaheim Housing Authority.
