AHA-1986-010RESOLUTION NO. AHA 86 - 10
A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY APPROVING AN
APPLICATION FOR FUNDS UNDER SECTION 8 OF TITLE II OF THE
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, The City of Anaheim has adopted a Housing Assistance Plan,
which plan is a part of the City of Anaheim's application for Title I
Community Development Block Grants under the Housing And Community Act of
1974; and
WHEREAS, said Assistance Plan reflects a Three Year Goal of
2,000 units of existing housing to be- funded under Section 8 of Title II of
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development has
advertised for application for existing units to be funded under Section 8; and
WHEREAS, there are 1,874 units of Existing housing to be funded
under Section 8 to achieve the Three Year Goal of the Housing Assistance Plan
for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, there are units available to be funded under the Section 8
Existing housing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim Housing Authority
does approve the submission of an application to the Department of Housing and
Urban Development for funding under Section 8 of Title II for 1,874 Existing
housing units.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the Anaheim
Housing Authority this 26th day of August, 1986. .
