94-110 RESOLUTION NO. 94R -110
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO GRANT AN
EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE TO TAORMINA INDUSTRIES,
INC. FOR THE COLLECTION, HANDLING, PROCESSING,
RECYCLING, TRANSPORTATION AND DISPOSAL OF
SOLID WASTE WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the City Council does hereby declare its intention
to grant an exclusive franchise to Taormlna Industries, Inc., a
California corporation, for the collection, handling, processing,
recycling, transportation and disposal of solid waste within the
city limits of the City of Anaheim. The terms and conditions of
the proposed franchise are contained in a document entitled,
"Solid Waste Franchise Granted by the City of Anaheim to Taormina
Industries, Inc.," a copy of which is available for public review
in the Office of the City Clerk on the second floor of the City
Hall building at 200 South Anaheim Boulevard in the City of
Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any persons having any
interest in the proposed franchise or any objection to the
granting thereof may appear before the City Council and be heard
thereon at a public hearing to be held at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on
July 19, 1994 in the Chambers of the City Council located in the
civic Center at 200 South Anaheim Boulevard in the City of
Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to publish this resolution once, within fifteen days of
the passage hereof, in the North County News, previously known as
the Anaheim Bulletin.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
city Council of the City of Anaheim this 21s~day of June ,
1994.
