AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ADDING ANEW SECTION 1. 12.120 OF CHAPTER 1.12
OF TITLE 1 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE REQUIRING THE
DISCLOSURE OF CERTAIN INFORMATION ON THE CITY'S
WEBSITE TO FURTHER TRANSPARENCY IN CITY GOVERNMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM HEREBY ORDAINS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That a new Sectionl.12.120 of Chapter 1.12 of Titlel of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby added to read as follows:
1.12.120 TRANSPARENCY IN CITY GOVERNMENT ON CITY WEBSITE
In accordance with Anaheim's commitment to transparency in City government, the City
Manager shall cause to be created a, "Transparency in City Government" web page within the
City's website. A link to this web page shall be conspicuously identified on the primary page of
the City's website. The "Transparency in City Government" web page shall make available
certain public reports, forms, city documents, and city financial information. The City Manager
shall determine those materials which shall be available on the City's "Transparency in City
Government" web page, provided, however, that such material shall include, at a minimum,
those public reports, forms, city documents, and city financial information specified by a
Resolution of the City Council, as such resolution may be amended from time to time. Nothing
in this section shall be construed to require the disclosure of documents, records and information
which is exempt from disclosure under state and federal law.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE was introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Anaheim held on 12th day of October, 2010, and thereafter passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 26th day of October, 2010, by the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Pringle, Council Members Sidhu, Hernandez, Galloway, Kring
