Chairman Keys called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
PUBLIC COMMENTS - None to report.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
Vice Chairman Heinbuch made a Motion to approve the January 28, 2010 Minutes. Motion was
seconded by Commissioner Gaby. Motion passed.
ACTIVITY REPORTS
A. Golf Manager
Michael Lautenbach presented his report and answered questions.
Michael Lautenbach stated the following:
Installation of the new point -of -sale software, provided by Active Network, was completed.
The new system went live on Monday, February 1, 2010.
A new membership program, The Club at Anaheim Hills Golf Course, was introduced in the
middle of February.
Commissioner Schultz asked for a status on script for the new point -of -sale system and stated the
new system does not give a script report for club members and does not show players' loyalty point
status on the receipt. Michael Lautenbach stated a request has been made to Active Network to
include name and loyalty point information on the receipt. Bob Johns stated the receipt given to
players shows the script balance.
B. Golf Course Superintendent
Dave Johansen stated the greens will be aerified at Dad Miller Golf Course on Monday, March 1St
and at Anaheim Hills Golf Course on Monday, March 81n
Commissioner Schultz questioned why the aerification of greens is scheduled earlier this year than
in the past. Dave Johansen stated aerification is scheduled earlier in order to avoid conflicts with
tournaments already scheduled.

Bob Johns stated Golf Shop staff is trained on the new point -of -sale system.
FINANCIAL REPORT
Michael Lautenbach stated January was not a good month due to the weather and the continued
decline of the economy.
OLD BUSINESS
Commissioner Gaby questioned the status of The Club at Anaheim Hills Golf Course. Michael
Lautenbach stated a flyer has been printed and the website company is working on an email blast that
will be sent out on Friday, February 26 regarding membership for the new club.
Vice Chairman Heinbuch questioned when the 10 tee box will open at Dad Miller Golf Course.
Michael Lautenbach stated it will open in early April.
Vice Chairman Heinbuch stated signs used to be posted on hole #12 and #15 showing a diagram of
how far to carry the ball. Vice Chairman Heinbuch questioned is similar signs can be re- posted.
Michael Lautenbach stated he will look into re- posting the signs.
Michael Lautenbach stated switching of starting holes at Anaheim Hills Golf Course will begin on March
15 in order to better pace -of -play. Michael stated players will begin at hole #10 - #18, then hole #1 -
#9. Michael also stated the beverage cart will start service earlier and the snack bar will open later due
to the new configuration.
NEW BUSINESS
A. Re- schedule March Meeting
Vice Chairman Heinbuch requested to re- schedule the March Meeting due to the Volunteer
Banquet put together by the City of Anaheim, Community Services Department scheduled at the
same time. Chairman Keys, Commissioner Schultz, Commission McCulloch and Commissioner
Gaby will not be attending the Volunteer Banquet. March Golf Commission Meeting will not be re-
scheduled.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Schultz made a Motion, seconded by Vice Chairman Heinbuch, to adjourn the meeting
to March 25, 2010 at 5:00 p.m., at Anaheim Hills Golf Course, Clubhouse Board Room. The Motion
passed. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:27 p.m.
