A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF
ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF
THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceedings No.
99-00-16 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code relating to zoning, and to consider a change in the
boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described
and, at said hearing, did receive evidence and reports from persons
interested therein and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following said
hearing, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing and granted the proposed amendment; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by law, an
interested party or the City Council, on its own motion, caused the
review of said Planning Cormnission action; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did consider the
same; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set
forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now
incorporated and that a change of zone should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
PARCEL 1:
THAT PORTION OF LOT 16 OF ANAHEIM EXTENSION, IN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE~ STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS
SHOWN ON A MAP BY WILLIAM HAMEL AND FILED RECORD IN THE
OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE CENTER LINE INTERSECTION PLACENTIA AVENUE
60 FEET IN WIDTH (NOW STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD) AND VERMONT
AVENUE 66 FEET IN WIDTH, SAID POINT ALSO BEING THE
SOUTHEASTERLY CORNER OF SAID LOT 16; THENCE FROM SAID
POINT OF BEGINNING AND ALONG THE CENTER LINE OF VERMONT

CALIFORNIA; THENCE ALONG THE WESTERLY LINE OF THE LINE OF
SCHROEDER NORTH 15° 27' 20" WEST 255.83 FEET; THENCE
ENTERING THE LAND OF SCHROEDER NORTH 74° 34' 15" EAST
712.57 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF SAID
LOT 16, AND THE CENTER LINE OF PLACENTIA AVENUE; THENCE
ALONG THE EASTERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 16, AND THE CENTER

MORE OR LESS, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING
EXCEPTING THEREFROM THE SOUTHWESTERLY 340 FEET THEREOF.
PARCEL 2:
THAT PORTION OF LOT A OF TRACT 2205, IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, SITE OF CALIFORNIA, AS SHOWN ON
A MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 64, PAGES 33, 34 AND 35 OF
MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, RECORDS OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
LYING EASTERLY OF THE NORTHERLY PROLONGATION OF THE
EASTERLY LINE OF TRACT 8417, AS SHOWN ON A MAP RECORDED IN
BOOK 339, PAGES 49 AND 50 OF SAID MISCELLANEOUS MAPS
shall remain in the "CL (Commercial, Limited), RM-1200 (Residential,
Multiple Family) and RS-7200 (Residential, Single Family)" ZONE and
not be reclassified into the "RS-A-43,000" RESIDENTIAL/AGRICULTURAl"
ZONE.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this llth day,gf July, 2000.
