A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING THAT CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR
WATER UTILITY PURPOSES LOCATED ON THE EAST
SIDE OF BROOKHURST STREET, NORTH OF BALL ROAD
(Abandonment No. 00-1lA)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by
law; and
WHEREAS, on the 29~h day of August, 2000, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of ,
particularly described as follows:
That certain easement for public utility
purposes situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as
set forth in and instrument recorded April
7, 1992 as Instrument No. 92-216990 of
Official Records in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Orange;
provided, however, that this action shall serve only to terminate
the rights of the public to use said street, highway, or public
service easement and shall not be construed to convey or
relinquish any property interest of the City of Anaheim in and to
said street, highway or public service easement.

be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and
deliver to the owner of the property encumbered by the easement
being abandoned hereby a quitclaim deed at such time as any
conditions set forth in this resolution shall have been
satisfied.
