SEC. 4. That the Polls at said Election must
be opened at 6 o'clock of the morning of the
said ninth day of April, 1900, and must be kept
open until five o'clock in the afternoon of the
same day, when the Polls shall be closed;
SEC: 5. That the City Clerk shall give notice
of said election in the manner prescribed by
the Political Code of the State of California;
SEC. 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this ordinance and shall cause the
same to be published once in the Orange Coun-
ty Plain Dealer, a weekly newspaper, printed,
published and circulated in the said City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
and thereupon and thereafter it shall take ef-
fect and be in full force.

I hereby ceatify, that the foregoing ordinance
was introduced at a meeting of the Board of
Trustees of the City of Anaheim, held on the
27th day of February, 1900, that it waa duly
passed at a regular meeting of the Board of
Trustees of the City of Anaheim, held on the
13th day of March, 1900, by the following vote:
Trustees Rust, Dickel, Schwenckert, Hekmsen
and Schneider.
That the President of the Board of =Trustees

on said 13th day of March, 1900.

An Ordinance calling a General Municipal Election in the City
of Anaheim, Establishing a Polling Place, Appointing a Board of
Election and Providing that Notice of such Flection be given.

The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim do ordain aS
follows: --
Section, I-- That a general municipal election be held in the
said city of Anaheim on Monday the ninth day of April 1900, for
the purpose of electing two members of the Board of Trustees of
the City of Anaheim, for the term of four years; one City Clerk;
Who shall be ex -officio Assessor; one City Treasurer and one City
Marshal, who shall be ex -officio Tax and License Collector;
Section, 2-- That the entire City shall constitute a single
precinct with one polling place for said election, and the polling
place for said election shall be as follows:- At the City Hall on
Center street, in the said City of Anaheim;
Section, 3-- That the compensation of the members of the Board
of election shall be three dollars each for the election, and the
following named persons, qualified electors of the City of Anaheim,
are hereby appointed a Board of Election to act respectively as
Inspectors, Judges,
Clerks and Ballot Clerks:
