A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REQUESTING THE
ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION
AUTHORITY TO ALLOCATE COMBINED
TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FUNDS FOR
REHABILITATION OF LA PALMA AVENUE
BETWEEN GROVE STREET AND KRAEMER
BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority
approved a Combined Transportation Funding Program (CTFP) for
fiscal year 1994/95; and
WHEREAS, the program includes $220,495 in fiscal year
1994-1995 for a street rehabilitation project on La Palma Avenue
between Grove Street and Kraemer Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has adopted a General Plan
Circulation Element which does not preclude implementation of the
MPAH within its jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has: (1) designed the
project improvements, and (2) completed required preparatory work
in accordance with the standards required by the City and other
affected jurisdictions involved with said project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has awarded the contract
for the project on June 27, 1995 for $428,843.61;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim hereby requests that
the Orange County Transportation Authority allocate $220,495 of
CTFP funds from the CTFP Program for construction of said project
to the city. This request is in conformance with the CTFP
allocation process and does not exceed ninety (90) percent of the
programmed amount or ninety (90) percent of the construction
contract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim agrees
to fund its share of the improvement costs of the above indicated
fiscal year and any additional costs over the identified
programmed amount.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim agrees
to submit the final report to the Orange County Transportation
Authority within one hundred twenty (120) days after the City's
acceptance of the improvements and that the remaining ten percent
(10%) in CTFP funds be transferred to the City of Anaheim when
construction is completed and a Final Report on the project is

accepted by the Orange County Transportation Authority.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this ~h day of
