A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING, NUNC
PRO TUNC, RESOLUTION NO. 95R-133,
WHICH APPROVED A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE ANAHEIM
POLICE ASSOCIATION AND THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, on July 11, 1995, the City Council of the City
of Anaheim adopted Resolution No. 95R-133, which approved a
Memorandum of Understanding between the Anaheim Police
Association and the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, APPENDIX "D" to Resolution No. 95R-133
contained an error in the statement of the Ten Plan; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to amend Resolution No. 95R-133 nunc pro tunc by
replacing the original APPENDIX "D" with a corrected
APPENDIX "D";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that City Council Resolution No. 95R-133 is
hereby amended nunc pro tunc by substituting the attached
APPENDIX "D" for the original APPENDIX "D."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except to the extent
amended hereby, Resolution No. 95R-133 shall remain in full force
and effect from its original effective date through and including
its scheduled expiration date as set forth in said Resolution
No. 95R-133.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1st day of August,
1995.

APPENDIX "D"
Ten plan
ANAHEIM and the Anaheim Police Association agree that the regular work schedute for employees
assigned to the Ten Plan by the Chief of Police shall be sixteen (16) ten (10) hour work shifts in a twenty
eight (28) day work period. The average work week of such designated employees shall be defined as a
forty (40) hour work week.
The work day shall consist of ten (10) hours of work. All breaks and meal periods shall be paid time
and shall be included in the work day for all employees working Uniformed assignments. Breaks
and meal periods shall be non paid time and shall not be included in the work day for all other
employees.
Employees who perform authorized work in excess of the regular work day as defined herein shall
be compensated for such work at the rate one and one-half (1 1/2) times their regular hourly rate of
pay. Only employees not working Uniformed assignments shall be eligible for overtime pay for
breaks and meal periods not taken due to the duties and responsibilities of the work assignment.
Employees shall receive an additional eight (8) hours pay at their regular rate of compensation or
shall accrue eight (8) hours holiday time for each holiday listed in ARTICLE 38 of the Memorandum
of Understanding provided such employees work on the holiday or day observed in lieu of the
holiday. Employees who do not work on the holiday or day observed in lieu of the holiday shall be
paid eight (8) hours holiday pay and shall be required to submit a vacation request for two (2) hours
for each holiday not worked.
Employees shall have one (1) hour deducted from their accrued sick leave, vacation, compensatory
time, holiday time, or industrial accident leave for each hour of leave taken.
The Ten Plan work schedule shall be reviewed periodically in accordance with ARTICLE 21 of the
Memorandum of Understanding, and may be revoked by Police Department management in the
event it is determined that the Ten Plan is not operationally effective and efficient.
