ORDINANCE NO. 166.
An ordinance fixing and levying a property
tax on all property within the corporate limits
of the City of Anaheim, for the fiscal year
1903-1909.
The Board of Trustees of Lite City of Ana-
heim do ordain as follows:
S"tion I. That there be and is hereby filed'
and levied a property tax for the fiscal fixed
year
1903-1904 of 67 centson each on, hundred dol-
lars of tine assessed valuation of all real and
personal property within 'he corporate limits
of the City of Anaheim, for the ordinary an-
nual expenditures of said City.
See. 2. That thele be and is herebv
flied and leTied a property tax for the fiscal
,year 1903-1904 of 19 cents on each one hundred
dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and
personal property within the corporate limits
of the City of Anaheim, for the purpose of pav-
ing the annual interest of the indebtedness of
said City incurred for the purpose of construct-
ing a City Hall, for the extension and comple-
tion of the city 4vater works, for,the grading
and improvemern of streets and the purchase
of property for the fire department, together
with one -twentieth of said indebtedness.
Sec. 3. That there be and is hereby fixed and
levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1903-
1904 of 9 cents on each one hundred dollars of
the assessed valuation of all real and personal
property within the corporate limits of the
City of Anaheim, for the purpose of paying the
annual interest of the indebtednrss"of said
City incurred for the purpose of constructing
and erecting a city electric light plant, to-
getber with one -fortieth of such indebtedness.
Sec. 4. That there le and is hereby fixed
and levied a property tax for the fiscal year
1303-1904 of 23 cents on each one hundred dol•
lars of theassessed valuation of all real and per-
sonal property within the corporate limits of i
the City of Anaheim, for the purpose of paying
the annual interest of the indebtedness of said
Jityincurred for the purpose of the extension
and improvement of the city water works, and
for the extension of the city electric light -
plant, together with one fortieth of such in-
debtedness.
See. 5. That there be and herebyis fixed and
levied a property tax for the fiscal year _190E-

of 7 cents on each one hundred dollars -of
the assessed valuation of all real and personal
property within the corporate limits of the
City of Anaheim for the purpose of maintain-
ing the Public Library of said Cityof Anaheim,
Sec. 6. The City. Clerk shall certify'to the
I passage of this ordinance and cause the same
!to be published once in the Orange County
Plain Dealer, a newspaper printed, published
and circulated in said City of Anaheim, and
thereupon and thereafter it shall take effect
and be in full force,

I_hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance
was introduced at a meeting of the Boara of
Trustees of the City of Anaheim held on the
.25th day of August, 1903, and that it was duly
passed at a regular meeting of said Board of
Trustees held on the 8th day of September,
1903, by the following vote:
Ayes—Trustees Schneider, Rust, Berdrow,
Fletcher, Weisel.
Noes—None.
That the President of sail Board of Trustees

An ordinance fixing and levying a property tax on all property
within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the fiscal
year 1903-1904.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim do ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby fixed and levied a pro—
perty tax for the fiscal year 1903-1904 of 67 cents on
each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and
personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Ana—
heim, for the ordinary annual expenditures of said City.
Sec. 2. That there be and is hereby fixedand levied a property
tax for the fiscal year 1903-1904 of lC cents on each
one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and per—
sonal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim,
for the purpovse of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness
of said City incurred for the purpose of constructing a City Hall,
for the extension and completion of the city water works, for the
grading and improvement of streets and the purchase of property for
the fire department, together with one—twentieth of said indebt—
edness.
Sec. S. That there be and is hereby fixed and levied a property
tax for the flscal year 1903-1904 of 9 cents on each
one 'hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and per—
conal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim,
for the purpovse of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness
of said City incurred for the purpose of constructing and erecting
a city electric light plant, together with one—fortieth of such
indebtedness.
Sec. 4. That there be and is hereby fixed and levied a pro—
perty tax for the fiscal year 1903-1904 of 1.3 Bentson each
one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and per-
sonal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim,
for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness
of said City incurred for the purpose of the extension and improve-
ment of the city grater works, and -for the extension of the city
electric light plant, together with one -fortieth of such indebt-
edness.
sec. 5. That there be and is hereby fixed and levied a property
tax for the fiscal year 1903--1904 of '7 cents on each one
hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and personal
property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for
the purpose of maintaining the Public Library of said City of Anah
heim.
Sec. 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordihame, and cause the same to be published once inthe-Orange
County Plaindealer, a newspaper printed, published and circulated
