AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM REPEALING ORDINANCE
NOS. 6089 AND 6104 PERTAINING TO
RECLASSIFICATION NO. 2007-00196.
WHEREAS, on February 13, 2007, the City Council initiated (i) General Plan
Amendment No. 2007-00454; (ii) Zoning Code Amendment No. 2007-00056; (iii) an amendment to
The Platinum Triangle Master Land Use Plan (MIS2007-00188); (iv) Reclassification No. 2007-
00196; and (v) further discretionary actions described in Subsequent Environmental Impact Report
No. 2006-00334, pertaining to The Platinum Triangle Expansion Project (hereinafter collectively
referred to as the "Project or Project Actions"); and
WHEREAS, on December 10, 2007, following a duly noticed public hearing, the
Anaheim City Planning Commission did approve and recommend that (i) the City Council certify
Subsequent Environmental Impact Report No. 2006-00334 and adopt the Findings of Fact and
Statement of Overriding Considerations and Updated and Modified Mitigation Monitoring Program
No. 106B and approve the Water Supply Assessment (MIS 2007-00218) prepared for the Project,
and (ii) approve the Project Actions; and
WHEREAS, on December 11, 2007, following a duly noticed public hearing, the City
Council adopted its Resolution No. 2007-234 (i) certifying Subsequent Environmental Impact Report
No. 2006-00334 and adopting Findings of Fact and Statement of Overriding Considerations and
Updated and Modified Mitigation Monitoring Program No. 106B (hereinafter collectively referred to
as "SEIR No. 2006-00334") and approving the Water Supply Assessment (MIS 2007-00218)
("WSA") prepared for the Project and (ii) approved the Project Actions; and
WHEREAS, on January 8, 2008, the Anaheim City Council adopted Ordinance No.
6089 approving Reclassification No. 2007-00196; and
WHEREAS, on April 8, 2008, following a duly noticed public hearing, the City
Council adopted its Resolution No. 2008-03 8 (i) re -certifying SEIR No. 2006-00334 and approving
the WSA prepared for the Project, and (ii) re -approved the Project Actions; and
WHEREAS, on April 22 2008, the Anaheim City Council adopted Ordinance No.
6104 approving Reclassification No. 2007-00196; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to set aside its approval of the Project Actions
and the related subsequent environmental impact report, SEIR No. 2006-00334, and WSA prepared
for the Project; and repeal Ordinance Nos. 6089 and 6104 relating to Reclassification No. 2007-
00196.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That City Council approval of Reclassification No. 2007-00196 is hereby repealed,
and, as a result thereof, the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be,
and the same is hereby, changed to rezone and reclassify the following described properties, situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as follows:
1. Those certain properties as shown on Exhibit A-1, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, from the I (PTMU Overlay) (Industrial — Platinum Triangle Mixed Use
(PTMU) Overlay) Zone to the I (Industrial) Zone.
2. Those certain properties as shown on Exhibit A-2, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, as follows: (i) Area 1 from the C -G (PTMU Overlay) (General Commercial
— Platinum Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay) Zone to the C -G (General Commercial) Zone; (ii)
Area 2 from the I (PTMU Overlay) (Industrial — Platinum Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay)
Zone to the I (Industrial) Zone; and (iii) Area 3 from the O -L (PTMU Overlay) (Low Intensity Office
- Platinum Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay) Zone to the O -L (Low Intensity Office) Zone.
3. Those certain properties as shown on Exhibit A-3, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, from the I (PTMU Overlay) (Industrial — Platinum Triangle Mixed Use
(PTMU) Overlay) Zone to the I (Industrial) Zone.
4. Those certain properties as shown on Exhibit A-4, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, as follows: (i) Area 1 from the I (PTMU Overlay) (Industrial — Platinum
Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay) Zone to the I (Industrial) Zone; and (ii) Area 2 from the O -L
(PTMU Overlay) (Low Intensity Office - Platinum Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay) Zone to
the O -L (Low Intensity Office) Zone.
5. Those certain properties as shown on Exhibit A-5, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, as follows: (i) Area 1 from the C -G (PTMU Overlay) (General Commercial
— Platinum Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay) Zone to the C -G (General Commercial) Zone; (ii)
Area 2 from the I (PTMU Overlay) (Industrial — Platinum Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay)
Zone to the I (Industrial) Zone; and (iii) Area 3 from the O -L (PTMU Overlay) (Low Intensity Office
- Platinum Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay) Zone to the O -L (Low Intensity Office) Zone.
6. Those certain properties as shown on Exhibit A-6, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, from the T (PTMU Overlay) (Transition — Platinum Triangle Mixed Use
(PTMU) Overlay) Zone to the T (Transition) Zone.

7. Those certain properties as shown on Exhibit A-7, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, as follows: (i) Area 1 from the I (PTMU Overlay) (Industrial — Platinum
Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay) Zone to the I (Industrial) Zone; and (ii) Area 2 from the O -H
(PTMU Overlay) (High Intensity Office - Platinum Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay) Zone to
the O -H (High Intensity Office) Zone.
8. Those certain properties as shown on Exhibit A-8, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, as follows: (i) Area 1 from the I (PTMU Overlay) (Industrial — Platinum
Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay) Zone to the I (Industrial) Zone; and (ii) Area 2 from the O -H
(PTMU Overlay) (High Intensity Office - Platinum Triangle Mixed Use (PTMU) Overlay) Zone to
the O -H (High Intensity Office) Zone.
RFCTION 2_
That Anaheim City Council Ordinances Nos. 6089 and 6104, which heretofore
approved Reclassification No. 2007-00196, be, and the same are hereby, repealed in their entirety.
SECTION 3.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended and the above-
described property shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map, as amended, is
hereby adopted and the Planning Department is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to
be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same
to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of
general circulation, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE was introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Anaheim held on the 14th day of October , 2008, and thereafter
passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 28th day of
October , 2008, by the following roll call vote:
