An ordinan-n providing for holding a Special Muniiripal Election
in the City of Anaheim, for the election of one member of the Board
of Trustees of said. City, on Monday, June 20th, 1910.
WHEREAS, at the general municipal election held in the City of
Anaheim, State of California, on April ll-VIIt 1910, only two of the
candidates for Vie office of nembpr of the Board of Trustees of
said City received the highest number of votes given for sn--h office,
and two of the other candidates for such office received an equal
riiLqiber of votes; and
WHEREAS, at said, general municipal election the electors of
said City were called upon to vote for three members of the Board
of Trustees of said City; and
WHEREAS, by reason of said tie vote it becomes necessary to
hold a special election in said, City, as required by law, to fill
such office of membpr of the 3oard of Trustees: Now therefore,
The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim.do ordain as

Section 1. That a special municipal election be held in the
City of Anaheim on Monday, June .210th, 1910, for the purpose of
electing one member of the Board of Trustees of said City.:Kaxxkkn
kzxm See. 2. That for the purpose of said speot-?,.1 election the said.
r1ity of Anaheim shall be and the same hereby is regularly constituted
and established as one election precinct, to be known and designated
as "Anaheim Municipal Election Precinct". the boundaries of which
nrecinot shall be and are hereby fixed as and at, and co—extensive
with, the exterior boundaries of the said. City of Anaheim.
Sec. 3. That the following named persons are hereby appointed
as a Bop.rd, of Election in said precinct to conduct said election
as required 'by law, too—wit:

Sec. 4. The compensation of said election officers is hereby
fixed at three dollars each.
Sec. 5. The polls shall be held at the City Hall, PJo. 202 Bast
Center Street, in the room therein knovin as the chamber of the Board
of Trustees: of said _City.
Is".. 6. Said elention shall be held and conducted in accordance
with the general election laws of the State of California, so far
as the same may be applicable.
Sec. 7. The polis must be opened at six o'closY of the morning
of said June 20th,19109, and must be. kept open until six o'clock in
the afternoon of the same day, when the polls shall be closed.
Sec. 8. The publication of this ordinance as required by law,
after its passage, shall be deemed to be due and sufficient notice
of the calling of said election.
Sec. 9. The City Clerk .shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Anaheim
Gazette, a weekly newspPp er of general circulation published and
circulated in said City of Anahei:i, and thereupon it shall be in
full force and effect.
