Sec. 8. The City Clerk of said City of Anaheim will pro^ure
sample ballots
and cause to be printed nxaazpInxbRIIa IxX on plain white paper, with --
out watermark or indorsements ( except the words "Sample Ballot"
printed on the back) and he shall within the. time and in the manner
provided by law :end one of such sample ballots to each of the
qualified elpntors of said City, and. shall enclose in the same
envelope one card of instructions for the guidanne of electors in
prep?.ring and marking their ballots, and will retain in his office
as many sample ballots as there are register.Pd voters of said City
and deliver one of such ballots to any elector apl;lying for the same.
He shall also furnish twelve cards of instruction to the Board of
Election appointed by this ordinance, at the same time and. in the
same manner as the printed ballots and sample ballots. The < aid
Board. of Election shall post at least one of such cards in each
booth or compartment provided fox, the prepar2.tion of ballots, and
not less than three of such cards at other places in and about the
polling plane on the day of election. Sections 1214 and 1215 of the
PIlitical Code and Section 61 of the Penal Code of the Stste of
California. shall also be printed on each of said cards.

Sec. 9. The, publication of this ordinance as required by law
shall be dp.pmed due notice to the qualified electors of the said
City of Anaheim that an election will be held as herein provided.
Sec. 10. The City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to the
passage and approval of this ordinance, and to publish the same
once a. week for two weeks in the. Anaheim Gazette, a weekly nemcpa.per
of general circulation printed, published and circulated in said
City of Anaheim, and published leas than six days per week, and
thereupon and. thPr6,after it shall take effect and be in full force.
