THE CITY OF ANAHEIM EN-
TITLED "AN ORDINANCE ES-
TABLISHING ZONES IN THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THERE-
IN REGULATING THE USE OF
LAND, HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS
AND YARD SPACES; ADOPTING
A MAP SHOWING THE BOUND-
ARIES OF SAJD ZONES; DEFIN-
ING THE TERMS USED IN THIS
ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR
ITS ADJUSTMENT, AMENDMENT
AND ENFORCEMENT,, PRE-
SCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VI-
OLATION AND REPEALING
ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
THEREWITH", BY CHANGING
THE BOUNDARIES OF ZONES
R-1 AND M-1.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Planning
Commission of the City of Anaheim
did heretofore duly pass and adopt
a resolution declaring its intention
to change the boundaries of the

LEGAL NOTICE
zone hereinafter mentioned and de-
scribed and did fix a time and place'
for the holding of public hearings
thereon in the manner and as pre
scribed in Ordinance No. 774 of the
City of Anaheim, and did duly hold
and conduct two public hearings to
consider such proposed change of
zone and did receive evidence and
reports from persons interested
itherein: and
WHEREAS, within a period .of
forty (40) days following the final
hearing thereon, the Planning Com-
mission did duly announce by for-
mal resolution its findings of facts
and declare its reasons and opini-
ons for recommending an amend-
ment to said Ordinance to effect
the proposed changes of the bound=
cries of the zone hereinafter men-
tioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the
report and recommendation of the
'City Planning Commission, the City
,Council did thereupon fix the 8th
day of January, 1952, as the time
and the Council Chambers in the
City Hall of the City. of .Anaheim
)as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed change of zone

manner and as provided in
Ordinance No. 774; and

an opportunity to be heard and did
receive evidence and reports and
did thereupon consider the recom-
mendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did

)after described and set forth and
by the adoption of a Sectional Zon-
ing Map showing said property and
area to be included within said
Zone M-1 as more particularly
hereinafter set forth.

COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANA-

on the 8 day of January, 1952, adopt
Resolution No. 1909 finding and
determining that the property and
area hereinafter described and pro-
posed to be changed from an R-1
Single Family Residential Zone to
an M-1 Light Manufacturing Zone
is more suitable for a Light Man-
ufacturing Zone than for Single!
Family Residential purposes and
that the inclusion of said property
and area in an M-1 Zone would In-
crease the value of said property
and area and would not depreciate
the, value of properties in adjoining
R-1 Zones;. and
WHEREAS, the City Council does

ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING THE
BOUNDARIES --OF SAID ZONES;
DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN
THIS ORDINANCE: PROVIDING
FOR ITS . ADJUSTMENT, AMEND-
MENT AND ENFORCEMENT; PRE-
SCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIO•-
LA'TION AND REPEALING ORDI-
NANCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDI-

WITH" be, and the same is hereby,
amended by changing the bound-
ariesof Zones R-1 and M-1 and
adopting a Sectional Zoning Map
showing such changes as follows:
1. . That all of the area situated
In the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange,. State of California, de-
scribed as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land, being a por-
tion of the East 1/2of the
Southeast ii of Section 8, Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West,
S. B. B. & M. and more particu-
larly described .as follows:
Beginning at a point on the
west side of Euclid Avenue,
said point being 660.16 feet
Northerly from the mon•ument-
ed center line of Lincoln Ave-
nue: thence continuing north-
wardly along the west line of
said Euclid Avenue a distance
of 285.4 feet to a point on the
Southwesterly line of SPRR
R/W; thence north 56^ 45'
50" W .1548.37 feet along said
SPRR R/W to ,a point on the
West line of the East % of the
Southeast 1/i of said Section 8;
thence S 0° 08'•36" E a distance
of 1124.43 feet along said West
line of the East V2 of the South-
east )'a of said Section 8 to a
point; thence S 891 34' 28" E
a. distance of 1299.6 feet to the
point of beginning, and con-

SECTION 2.
That the Sectional Zoning Map.
hereto attached showing the above
described property to be incorpor-
ated in and made a part of Zone
M-1, and excluded from Zone R-1
be, and the same is hereby, adopted
and that the Zoning Map of the City
of Anaheim be, and the same' is
hereby, amended accordingly.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall
cause the same to be printed and
published once within fifteen (15)
days after its adoption, in the An-
aheim Bulletin, a newspaper of
general circulation printed, pub-
lished and circulated in said City,
and thlrty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take ef-
fect and be in full force.
