AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
SECTION 18.01.020 OF CHAPTER 18.01 OF TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE AND AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 5673 TO DELETE A PORTION OF
PROPERTY FROM THE SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT
OVERLAY ZONE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM HEREBY ORDAINS
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the definition of "Anaheim Stadium Area set forth
in Section 18.01.020 of Chapter 18.01 of Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as
follows:
"'Anaheim Stadium Area.' The Anaheim Stadium Area
means the approximately 807 -acre area of the City bounded by
the Santa Ana River on the east, the Anaheim City limits on
the south, the Santa Ana Freeway (Interstate 5) on the west,
and the Southern California Edison Co. easement on the
north, as depicted on the map labeled "Sports Entertainment
Overlay Area with Districts" in Section 2 'Project
Description' of the Anaheim Stadium Area Master Land Use
Plan, as it may be amended from time to time, on file in the
Planning Department."
SECTION 2.
That Ordinance No. 5673, adopted by the City Council on
March 16, 1999, and the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
removing and deleting the property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California described in
Attachment "A" to this Ordinance from the Sports Entertainment
("SE") Overlay Zone.
SECTION 3.
That Planning Department and Community Development
Department Staff are hereby directed to amend the text and
exhibits of the Anaheim Stadium Area Master Land Use Plan to
reflect the deletion of the property described in Attachment "A."
SECTION 4.
Approval of this ordinance is contingent upon approval
and adoption of General Plan Amendment No. 2000-00376 by the City
Council.
SECTION 5. SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
ordinance of the Code, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason
to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have
passed all other portions of this ordinance independent of the
elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared
invalid.
SECTION 6. SAVINGS CLAUSE
Neither the adoption of this ordinance nor the repeal
of any other ordinance of this City shall in any manner affect
the prosecution for violations of ordinances, which violations
were committed prior to the effective date hereof, nor be
construed as a waiver of any license or penalty or the penal
provisions applicable to any violation thereof. The provisions
of this ordinance, insofar as they are substantially the same as
ordinance provisions previously adopted by the City relating to
the same subject matter, shall be construed as restatements and
continuations, and not as new enactments.
SECTION 7. PENALTY
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to violate any provision or to fail to comply with
any of the requirements of this ordinance. Any person, firm or
corporation violating any provision of this ordinance or failing
to comply with any of its requirements shall be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a
fine not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or by
imprisonment not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine
and imprisonment. Each such person, firm or corporation shall be
deemed guilty of a separate offense for each day during any
portion of which any violation of any of the provisions of this
ordinance is committed, continued or permitted by such person,
firm or corporation, and shall be punishable therefor as provided
for in this ordinance.

THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 12th day of December ,
2000.

Juan Cajon de Santa Ana as shown on the map recorded in Book 51, Page 10 of
Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Cerritos Avenue (90 feet wide) with
the Westerly line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Right of Way (60 feet wide) as shown
on the map filed in Book 113, Pages 5 and 6 of Parcel Maps in the office of said County
Recorder; thence South 15°32'47" East 1161.07 feet along said Westerly right of way to
the Southerly line of Parcel 1 as shown on the map filed in Book 60, Pages 46 through 50
of Record of Surveys, in the office of said County Recorder, said point being the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing South 15°32'47" East 1579.81 feet to the
centerline of Katella Avenue, as shown on the map filed in Book 88, Page 23 of Parcel
Maps in the office of said County Recorder; thence South 89053'58" West 1105 feet,
more or less, along said centerline of Katella Avenue to the centerline of the Santa Ana
Freeway (Interstate 5); thence along said centerline, the following courses: North
40°50'15" West 370 feet, more or less, North 39°55'52" West 751.45 feet, and North
40°52'20" West 630 feet, more or less, to the Westerly prolongation of the Southerly line
of said Parcel 1 as shown on said map filed in Book 60, Pages 46 through 50 of Record of
Surveys; thence along said Westerly prolongation and the Southerly line of said Parcel 1,
the following courses: North 89°54'19" East 1032 feet, more or less, to an angle point
therein, and North 75°58'46" East 817.65 feet to the true point of beginning.
Containing an area of 47.036 acres, more or less.
