THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 Throughout this ordinance
the northeast corner shall be understood
to mean the junction of the north and
east curb lines of the intersecting streets;
the southeast corner shall be understood
to mean the junction of the south and
east curb lines of toe intersecting streets;
the southwest corner shall be under-
stood tc mean the junction of the south
and west curb lines of the intersecting
streets, and the northwest corner shall
be unaerstood to mean the junction of the
rrortn and west curb lines of the inter-
secting streets. Tne city limits shall be
unaerstood to mean the city- limits of the
City of Anaheim.
SECTION 2. The grades in this ordin-
ance shall be understood to be the dis-
tance in feet above a datum plane 152.03
feet below a standard bench mark on the
iron door plate at the northwest corner
of Metz Bock as heretofore established
by Ordinance No. 98 of the City of Ana-
neim, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE ES-
TABLISHING A DATUM PLANE AND
Dn,S1GNA'1'ING BENCH MARKS
TkihREIN." Passed and adopted on the
I"tn day of July, 1894.
SEC'rION 3. The grade of West Broad-
way Street from Walnut Street to the
West City Limits of the City of Ana-
heim, is hereby established as follows:
A.t the intersection of West Broadway
Street and \Walnut Street the Southwest
corner shall be one hundred thirty-three
and sixty hundreds (133.60) feet, and
the Nortnwest corner shall be one hun-
dred thirty-three and sixty hundredths
(133.60) feet. At the intersection of
W est Broadway Street and Cherry
Street the northeast corner snall be one
nuncrea tnirty-two and ninety hundredths
(132.90) feet, and the northwest corner
shall be one hundred thirty-two and sev-
enty-five hunareaths (132.75) feet. The
Southerly curb of \\ est Broadway Street
at its intersection with the extended
center line of Cherry Street shall be one

Broadway Street is hereby established
as follows: At the intersection of Cher-
ry Street and West Center Street the
Southeast corner shall be one hundred
thirty-three and eighty-five hundredths
(133.85) feet, and the Southwest corner
shall be one hundred thirty-three and
sixty hundredths (133.60) feet. At the
intersection of Cherry Street and West
Broadway Street, the grade shall be as
already established by Section 3 of this
ordinance.
SECTION 6. The grade of Adams
Street from West Center Street to the
\% est City Limits of the City
of Anaheim is hereby establish-
ed as follows: At the intersec-
tion of Adams Street and West Center
Street the Southeast corner shall be one
hundred twenty-nine and no hundredths
(129.00) feet, and the Southwest corner
shall be one hundred twenty-eight and
eighty hundredths (128.80) feet. The
Easterly curb of Adams Street at a point
three hundred thirty-seven and ninety-
five hundredths (337.95) feet Southerly
from the Center line of West Center
Street shall be one hundred thirty-one
and ten hundredths (131.10) feet. The

SECTION 7. All ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict with the pro-
visions of this ordinance are hereby re-
pealed.
SECTION 8. The City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim shall certify to the pas-
sage of this ordinance and shall cause
the same to be published once in the
Anaheim Gazette, a weekly newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in said City of Anaheim,
and thirty days from and after its fin-
al passage it shall take effect and be in
full force.
