SECTION 4. The words "barrier" as used in this ordinance shall be deem- ed to include any lumber, boards, rope or any other material placed or stretch- ed across any portion of such street, avenue, alley, sidewalk or other high- way, which shall be plainly visible a+ a distance of fifty feet in the daytime and which shall be illuminated at night with a red lantern. SECTION S. Any person, firm, or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of t h i s ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misde- meanor, and upon conviction thereof,; shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty ($50.00) Dollars or by im- prisonment in the city jail of said city, for not more than fifty days or by both such fine or imprisonment. SECTION 6. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are here by repealed. SECTION 7. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall certify to the Passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a news paper of general circulation, printed, Published and circulated in said city, and thirty days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
