AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
4o ANAHEIM AMENDING SECTION
4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 283, ENTI-
TLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVID-1
ING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF
GARBAGE IN THE CITY OF ANA-
HEIM AND PROVIDING A PEN-
ALTY FOR ALL VIOLATIONS
THEREOF" PASSED AND ADOPT-
ED BY THE BOARD OF TAUS- I
TEES OF SAID CITY ON THE 23rd
DAY OF DECEMBER, 1914.
The Board of Trustees of the City
of Anaheim do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That section 4 of ordi-
nance No. 283 of the City of Ana-
heim, entitled "An ordinance provid-
ing for the disposition of garbage in
the city of Anaheim and providing a
penalty for all violations thereof"
,passed and adopted by the Board of
,Trustees of the=said city on the 23rd
day of December, 1914, be and the
same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"Section 4. No permit shall be
granted to any person, firm or corpo-
ration to remove garbage from any
hotel, restaurant, house, residence or
other place within the city of Ana-
heim other than to the person, firm
or corporation which shall at the
time that application for such permit
is made be in the actual possession or
control of the premises from which
such garbage is to be removed and
such permit shall be granted only
for the removal of garbage which re-
sults from use or occupation of such
premises. Such permit shall not be
assignable and all rights therein
granted shall be used only by such
person in the actual occupancy or has
the actual use of such premises."
Section 2. All ordinances and
parts of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim shall certify to the
passage of this ordinance and cause
the same to be published once in "The
Orange County Plain Dealer" a tri-
weekly newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, published and circulat-
ed in the said city and thirty days
from and after its final passage it
shall take effect and be in full force.
The foregoing ordinance is signed,

"Section 4. Tho permit shall be granted to any person, firm
or corporation to remove garbage from any hotel, restaurant, mouse,
residence or other place within the city of Anaheim other than to
the person, firm or corporation which shall at the time that appli-
cation for such permit is made be in the actual possession or con-- I
trol of the premises from which suc'-h garbage is to be removed and
ouch permit shall be granted only for the removal of garbage which
results from use or occupation of such premises. Such permit shalll
,not be assignable and all rights thereinranted shall be used only,
by such person in the actual occupancy oras the actual use of such
premises."
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
