AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION
1, OF ORDINANCE NO. 179 OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, ENTITLED,
"AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE
FIRM LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM; PROVIDING FOR THE
KIND OF BUILDINGS TO BE
ERECTED THEREIN; PRESCRIB-
ING REGULATIONS FOR THE MOV-
,, -.ff ING OF BUILDINGS, AND REQUIR-
ING PLUMBING IN BUILDINGS TO

The Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordi-
nance No, 179 of the City of Anaheim
entitled, "An Ordinance fixing the fire
limits of the city of Anaheim: provid-
ing for the kind of buildings to be
erected therein; prescribing regulations
for the movin of buildings, , and re-
quiriniF plumbing in buildings to be
tested.' which was passed and adopted
by the Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim, on the 13th dayof March,
1906, be and the same is hereby amend-
ed to read as follows:
Section 1. That the following de-
scribed portion of the city of Anaheim
is hereby declared to be the fire limits
of said City and all territory lying
within the boundaries hereinafter de-
fined is declared to be within the fire
limits of said city.
The fire limits of said city are hereby
established and defined as follows:
Commencing at the point of intersec-
tion of the center line of South Clemen-
tine Street and Chestnut Street; run-
ning thence Easterly along the center
line of said Chestnut Street, to the
point of intersection of the said center
line of Chestnut Street and the center
line of South Lemon Street; thence
Southerly along the center line of said
South Lemon Street to its intersection
with the center line of West Broadway
Street: thence Easterly along the cen-
ter line of said West Broadway Street
and along the center line of East
Broadway Street to the point ofinter-
section of the center line of East
Broadway Street and the extended cen-
ter line of the. twenty (20) foot alley
running Northerly and Southerly
through Block A, Center Tract as
shown on a map recorded in Book 14,
Page 13, Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California; thence
N(irtherly along said center line and
said center line extended to the point of
'Intersection of said center line and the
extended Southerly line of Lot 18.
Block A, Center tract as shown on said
map; thence Easterly along said South-
erly line and said Southerly line ex-
tended to the center line of South Clau-
dina Street; thence Northerly along the
center line of South Claudina Street to
a point distant One Hundred Thirty-five
feet South of the South propertv line of
East Center Street; thence Easterly
and parallel with East Center Street to
the center line of South Olive Street:
thence Northerly along the center line
of South Olive Street and North Olive
Street, to a point distant One Hundred
and twenty-five feet North of the North
property line of east Center Street;
thence Westerly and parallel with East
Center Street to the center line of
North Claudine Street; thence Norther-
ly along the center line of North Clau-
dina Street to the point of intersection
of the center line of East Chartres'
Street; thence Westerly along the ben
ter line of East Chartres Street and
West Chartres Street to the point of in-
tersection of the center line of West
Chartres Street and North Lemon
Street; thence Southerly along the cen-
ter line of North Lemon Street to the
Intersection of said center line, with
the center line of a certain alley, run-
ning in an Easterly and Westerly di-
rection through Block K, of A subdi-
vision of Vineyard Lot D6 of the Town
of Anaheim, according to a map there-
of, recorded in Book 17, at page 72.
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California, produced Easterly,
to the center line of said alley to Its
Intersection with the center line of
North Clementine Street; thence South-
erly along the center line of North
Clementine Street and South Clemen-
tine Street to the point of beginning.
Section 2. All Ordinances and parts
of ordinances in conflict with the pro-
visions of this ordinance, are hereby
repealed.,
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and cause the same to
be published once in "The Orange
County Plain Dealer," a tri -weekly
newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in
said city, and thirty days from and af-
ter its final passage, it shall take ef-
fect and be in full force.
