ANAHEIM 1 -;OR THE FISCAL YEAR
1919-1920.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.—That Xhere be and here-
by is fixed and levied a property tax
�or l he fiscal year 1919-19'20, of Seven-
w eight and seven tenth (78 7-10)
�:ents on each one hundred dollars (of
the assessed valuation of all real prop-
prty and personal property within the
Corporate limits of the City of Ana-
Iheim, for the ordinary annual expen-
Iditures of said City.)
1 SECTION 2—That there be and here-
by is fixed and levied a property tax
for the fiscal year 1919-1920, of One
And three tenth (.01 3-10) cents on each
one hundred dollars of the assessed
valuation of all real and personal prop-
lerty within the corporate limits of the
City of Anaheim, for the purpose of
paying the annual interest of the in-
debtedness of said city incurred for the
purpose of constructing a City Electric
Light plant, together with one -fortieth
(1-40) of said indebtedness.
SECTION 3—That there be and is
hereby fixed and levied a property tax
for the fiscal year 1919-1920, of Three
and six tenth (.03 6-10) cents on each
one hundred dollars of the assessed
valuation of .0.11 real and.gersonal prop-
erty within the corporate limits of the
City of Anaheim for the purpose of
paying the annual interest of the in-
!debtedness of said city incurred for the
purpose of the extension and improve-
ment of the City Water Works, and for
the improvement of the Electric Light
Plant, together with one -fortieth (1-40)
of the said indebtedness.
SECTION 4—That there be and here-
by is fixed and levied a property tax
for the fiscal year 1919-1920, of Ten
and six tenth (.10 6-10) cents on each
one hundred dollars of the assessed
:valuation of all real and personal prop-
'erty within the corporate limits of the
City of Anaheim, for the purpose of
paying the annual interest of the in-
debtedness of said city, incurred for
.the extension and improvement of the
(City Water Works and for the exten-
I Sion and improvement of the City Elec-
'tric Light Plant, together with one -
fortieth (1-40) of the said indebted-
ness.
SECTION 5—That there be and here -
:by is fixed and levied a property tax
for the fiscal year 1919-1920, of Two
and live tenth (.02 5-10) cents on each
;one hundred dollars of the assessed
',valuation of all real and personal prop-
, erty within the corporate limits of the
City of Anaheim, for the purpose of
pavinx the annual interest of the in-
debtedness of said City incurred for
;the purpose of paving a portion of
`South Los Angeles Street and certain
street intersections together with one-
'fift-enth (1-15) of said indebtedness.
SECTION f,—That there be. and here -
'by is fixed and levied a property tax
!for the fiscal year 1919-1920, Two and
two -tenth (.02 2-10) cents on each one
hundred dollars of the assessed valu-
ation of all real and personal property
within the corporate limits of the City
of Anaheim. for the purpose of paving
the annuAl interest of the indebtedness
of said City, .incurred for the purpose
of the acquisition of fire apparatus for
said city, together with one fortieth
(1-40) of said indebtedness.
SECTION 7—That there be, and here-
by is, fixed and levied a property tax
for the fiscal year 1919-1920 of Twenty
(.20) cents on each one hundred dollars
of the assessed valuation of all real
and personal property within the cor-
porate limits of the City of Anaheim
for the purpose of maintaining the
Public Library in said city.
SECTION 8—That there be, and here-
by is, fixed and levied a property tax
for the fiscal year 1919-1920, of Twen-
ty-three and eight tenths (.23 8-10)
cents on each one hundred dollars of
the assessed valuation of all real and
personal property within the corporate
limits of the City of Anaheim, for the
purpose of paying the annual interest
of the indebtedness of said City of
Anaheim, incurred for the purpose of
the acquisition of a sewer farm and
the construction of a sewer system, to-
gether with one -fortieth (1-40) of said
indebtedness.
SECTION 9—That there be, and here-
by is, fixed and levied a property tax
for the fiscal year 1919-1920, of Two
and three tenth (.02 3-10) cents on
each one hundred dollars of the as-
sessed valuation of all real and person-
al property within the corporate lim-
its of the City of Anaheim for the pur-
pose of paying the annual interest of
the indebtedness of said city, incurred
for the purpose of the acquisition and
construction of additions to the City
Electric Light plant, together with
one -twentieth (1-20) of said indebted-
ness.
SECTION 10—The City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim shall certify to the
passage of this ordinance and cause
the same to be published once in "The
Orange County Plain Dealer," a tri-
weekly newspaper of general circula-
tion, published and circulated in said
City of Anaheim, and therefrom and
thereafter the same shall take effect
and be in full force.
The foregoing ordinance is signed,
approved and attested by me this 11th
day of September, A. D. 1919.
