A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DETERMINING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
CITY PROPERTY TO BE IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF
THE CITY AND APPROVING THE TERMS AND CON-
DITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT TO SELL SAID PROPERTY
TO THE CITY OF YORBA LINDA
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of that
certain property located on the south side of Esperanza Avenue in
the City of Yorba Linda (hereinafter PROPERTY); and,
WHEREAS, the City of Yorba Linda has offered to
purchase PROPERTY; and,
WHEREAS, an appraisal of the value of PROPERTY has been
undertaken by Hennessey & Hennessey, appraisers, which appraisal
has determined the value of PROPERTY to be $170,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Yorba Linda has agreed to pay said
amount to the City of Anaheim for PROPERTY in accordance with the
terms and conditions of an agreement for the sale of PROPERTY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does, pursuant to the provisions of Section
1222 of the Charter of the City of Anaheim, find and determine
that the sale of PROPERTY to the City of Yorba Linda in accord-
ance with the terms and conditions of the agreement for the sale
of PROPERTY to Yorba Linda, is in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the
City of Anaheim does hereby approve the terms and conditions of
the agreement to sell PROPERTY to the City of Yorba Linda.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said
agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mayor be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to execute a deed to convey
PROPERTY to the City of Yorba Linda, said deed to be delivered
into escrow in accordance with the terms and conditions of the
agreement.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 20th day of
2001.
