RES-2007-021RESOLUTION NO. 2007 021 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AGREEING TO A REDISTRIBUTION OF PROPERTY TAXES FOR A REORGANIZATION OF 332 SQUARE FEET OF PROPERTY AT THE INTERSECTION OF MANCHESTER PLACE AND COMPTON AVENUE. WHEREAS, The Olson Company, has requested a boundary adjustment between the cities of Anaheim and Orange at a location near the western portion of the City of Orange at the intersection of Manchester Place and Compton Avenue to allow for a more consistent boundary between the two jurisdictions, and will result in reuse of a remnant; and WHEREAS, Section 99(b)(6) of the Revenue and Taxation Code requires jurisdictions involved in any such jurisdictional change to agree to a property tax redistribution prior to certification of such change in jurisdiction; and WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim concurs with the City of Orange that the tax revenues accruing for the territory being annexed to the City of Orange be allocated in total to the City of Orange; and WHEREAS, a legal description and map depicting the area of this reorganization is attached hereto and designated as Exhibit "A" and Exhibit `B," respectively. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim does hereby agree to the foregoing redistribution of property taxes for this reorganization, with taxes allocated according to applicable revenue factors for the affected tax rate areas.
