A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AGREEING TO A REDISTRIBUTION OF
PROPERTY TAXES FOR A REORGANIZATION OF 332
SQUARE FEET OF PROPERTY AT THE INTERSECTION
OF MANCHESTER PLACE AND COMPTON AVENUE.
WHEREAS, The Olson Company, has requested a boundary adjustment
between the cities of Anaheim and Orange at a location near the western portion of the
City of Orange at the intersection of Manchester Place and Compton Avenue to allow for
a more consistent boundary between the two jurisdictions, and will result in reuse of a
remnant; and
WHEREAS, Section 99(b)(6) of the Revenue and Taxation Code requires
jurisdictions involved in any such jurisdictional change to agree to a property tax
redistribution prior to certification of such change in jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim concurs with the City of Orange that the
tax revenues accruing for the territory being annexed to the City of Orange be allocated
in total to the City of Orange; and
WHEREAS, a legal description and map depicting the area of this
reorganization is attached hereto and designated as Exhibit "A" and Exhibit `B,"
respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim does hereby agree to the foregoing redistribution of
property taxes for this reorganization, with taxes allocated according to applicable
revenue factors for the affected tax rate areas.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 1 ti lay of February 2007, by the following roll
call vote:

the State of Califortia December 124 1968, as Besoletion Na. 68B-720,
said point being distant from the Southwest corner of the Southeast
quarter of said Section 26, said SoUthweet corner aleo being the
centerline iAersection of Lewis Street atd Chapman Avenue, as said
intersection is shown on a Map of Tract No. 2413, recorded in Book 73,
pages 21 through 23 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, the following courses and distances: North 0119 07" West
455.43 feet North 71' 10 50" at 42.44 feet to the Northwest corner
of Lot "S" of said 'Pratt No. 2413, thence following along the existing
City Limit liee of the City of Orange, also being the existing City
Lieit line of the City of Anahelee and along the Easterly and Southerly
