A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 93R -153
PERTAINING TO CIVIL PARKING PENALTIES, NUNCPRO
T1WC, TO CORRECT AN INADVERTENT CLERICAL
ERROR IN RESOLUTION NO. 2007 -165 PREVIOUSLY
ADOPTED.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Council has previously adopted Resolution No. 93R-
153, establishing the Penalty Schedules for parking and standing provisions of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and the California Vehicle Code; and
WHEREAS, on June 15, 2004, the Anaheim City Council adopted Resolution No.
2004 -144 amending the Penalty Schedule, pertaining to parking in an area restricted to facilitate
street sweeping, increasing the civil penalty to $29.00 for a violation of Section 14.32.500 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, on August 21, 2007. the Anaheim City Council adopted Resolution No.
2007 -165 amending the Penalty Schedule, pertaining to parking in a permit only area without a
permit, increasing the civil penalty to $60.00 for a violation of Section 14.32.450 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code: and
WHEREAS, through inadvertence and clerical error in drafting Resolution No. 2007-
1 65, the Penalty Schedule, pertaining to parking in an area restricted to facilitate street sweeping,
was unintentionally listed as $19.00, not 529.00 as previously established by the Anaheim City
Council by its action on June 15. 2004; and
WHEREAS, by the adoption of this Resolution, the Anaheim City Council desires
and intends to correct said error, nuns pro tune, by amending and restating Exhibit "A" of Resolution
No. 93R-1 53, as previously amended. to correct the amount of the civil penalty for violations of
Section 14 32.500 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Exhibit "A" of Resolution No. 93R -153, as previously amended by Resolution
Nos. 2004 -144 and 2007 -165, be, and the same is hereby, amended and restated, nunc pro tune, to
read as follows:
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 24th day of February 2009, by the following roll call vote:

Any surcharges imposed by law shall be added to the penalties established by or in
accordance with this Exhibit, specifically those imposed by Government Code Sections 76000 and
76101 or any successor provision thereto.
An additional penalty of $28.00 shall be added for all parking penalty assessments due and
unpaid within the time periods provided on the notice of parking violation in accordance with
California Vehicle Code Sections 40200, et seq., or any successor provisions thereto.
inpaid parking penalties shall be collected in accordance with Vehicle Code Section 40220
or any successor provision thereto."
SECTION 2.
That except as expressly revised herein, Resolution No. 93R -153, as previously
amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
