A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING AND
AMENDING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR
CERTAIN FORENSIC SERVICES PROVIDED BY
THE ANAHEIM POLICE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Police Department provides services to the
public to copy data or images to Compact Disks (CD), Digital Video Disc (DVD),
or video tape, copy video to DVD, copy special photographs, copy Polaroid
photos to standard film, additional copies of Polaroid photos, scanning film to
digital format and reprinting standard photos; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has reviewed forensic
services requested by the public previously and provided by the Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has determined that
these requests have a cost established with them; and
WHEREAS, the City Council find that certain said fines and fees should be
established in the manner hereinafter specified; and
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter adopted do not exceed the estimated
reasonable cost of providing the service for which the fee is charged; and
WHEREAS, the indicated fees have been considered at a duly noticed
public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the fees for service described in this Resolution provided by the
Police Department are hereby established in accordance with the amounts set
forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
BE IT FURTHUR RESOLVED that the effective date of the fees
established herein is July 1, 2007.
BE IT FURTHUR RESOLVED that all other fees currently established for
services provided by the Police Department shall continue in full force and effect
except as established by this Resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 1 9th day of June 2007,
by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Pringle, Council Members Hernandez, Sidhu, Galloway, Kring
