A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A SPECIAL PERMIT TO
MOVE A RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FROM 1231 WEST
CENTER STREET TO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OWNED LAND LOCATED AT 1219 WEST CENTER
STREET IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency intends to
relocate and restore a residential structure (the "Structure which is currently located at 1231
West Center Street in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Structure is currently deteriorated and damaged with substandard
mechanical equipment; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 15.32 of the Anaheim Municipal Code,
the Agency has filed a written application (the "Application with the City of Anaheim for a
special permit to move the Structure from its current location to Agency -owned land generally
located at 1219 West Center Street in the City of Anaheim (the "Relocation Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Application was set for a public hearing on August 7, 2007 at
5:30 P. M. (the "Public Hearing and notice of the time and place fixed for the Public Hearing
was given at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the Public Hearing by mail to all
persons owning property within a one thousand (1,000) foot radius of the Relocation Property (as
the names of such owners appeared on the last available tax assessment roll); and
WHEREAS, after duly conducting the Public Hearing upon the date set therefor
and after duly considering the Application for a Special Permit, together with all evidence and
reports submitted in connection with the Public Hearing, the City Council does find that such
permit should be granted for the following reasons:
1. upon relocation and restoration, the Structure will be comparable in value, size,
quality, design and appearance to the structures located in the neighborhood of the
Relocation Property;
2. upon relocation and restoration, the Structure will not be detrimental to, nor
diminish the value of, property near the Relocation Property;
3. upon relocation and restoration, the Structure will conform to the provisions of
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code that are applicable to the Relocation
Property; and
4. the relocation and restoration of the Structure has been determined to be exempt
from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act "CEQA in

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Special Permit Granted. The Application to move the Structure to the
Relocation Property as set forth above is hereby granted subject to compliance with all applicable
provisions of Title 15 and 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION IS PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THIS SEVENTH (7TH) DAY OF
AUGUST, 2007, BY THE FOLLOWING ROLL -CALL VOTE:
