RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE RECORDS
RETENTION SCHEDULE FOR THE HUMAN
RESOURCES DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Section 34090 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California
(the "Statute provides for the retention and destruction of certain records, documents,
instruments, books and papers (collectively, "Records and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Statute, a Records Retention
Schedule for the Human Resources Department was previously approved by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, staff for Human Resources recommended, and the Records Policy
Committee of the City of Anaheim concurred with such recommendation, that the City
Council adopt that certain revised Records Retention Schedule for the Human Resources
Department which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference
(the Revised Human Resources Records Retention Schedule
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council hereby approves the Revised Human Resources Records Retention
Schedule.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION IS PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THIS TWENTY THIRD)
DAY OF OCTOBER, 2007, BY THE FOLLOWING ROLL CALL VOTE:
