RES-2007-199Classification Salary Grade Schedule /Step Effective: October 5, 2007 Head Parking Lot Attendant PE130 1578 9 Head Parking Lot Cashier PE140 1626 9 Classification Salary Grade Schedule /Step Effective: October 5, 2007 Convention Center Relief Events Supervisor PE170 2059 9 RESOLUTION NO. 2007- 1 99 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION 2005R -110 WHICH ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION AND PAY POLICIES FOR UNREPRESENTED EVENT RELATED PART -TIME JOB CLASSIFICATIONS WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated October 23, 2007, that the rates of compensation and pay policies for unrepresented event related part-time job classifications be established; and WHEREAS, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 2005R -110 pertaining to rates of compensation and pay policies for unrepresented part-time job classifications; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that establishing new rates of compensation and pay policies for unrepresented event related part-time job classifications is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim. 1. That Section 1 of Resolution 2005R -110 relating to the classifications listed below shall be amended as follows: Section 1: That the basic compensation plan of Resolution 2005R -110 which establishes the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed, or will in the future be employed in any of the job classifications listed below, shall be allocated to salary grades, schedules /step as shown below: 1:\switz \OT1010sw.DOC 2007. 2. That, Section 5 of Resolution 2005R -110 be amended in its entirety to read as follows: Section 5: "Part -Time employees covered by this Resolution who are Miscellaneous CaIPERS members, shall pay 4.75% of the statutorily required 8% CaIPERS employee contribution to the retirement system. Anaheim shall pay 3.25% of the statutorily required 8% employee contribution to the retirement system. Such contributions shall be designated as "employer pick up" contributions under the provisions of Section 414(h)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.
