A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING EASEMENTS FOR AN INACTIVE
WATER WELL SITE (WELL SITE NO. 112) LOCATED AT 9701
WEST CRESTWOOD LANE PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTIONS 8330 ET SEQ.-
SUMMARY VACATION (Abandonment No. ABA 2006 00127.)
WHEREAS, an applicant has requested the vacation of certain public service
easements for an inactive water well site (Well Site No. 112) located at 9701 West Crestwood Lane,
Anaheim, California; and
WHEREAS, Well No. 112 has been properly destroyed and the facilities have been
removed as part of the City's overall program to destroy older, shallow, inactive City -owned wells,
in conjunction with the completion of new City wells and therefore said easements and reservations
are no longer required; and
WHEREAS, the easements to be abandoned are no longer required for present or
future water utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the easements to be abandoned are superseded by relocation of water
utility facilities and there are no other public facilities located within the easements; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of those easements for an inactive well site (Well Site No.
112) reserved in a Corporation Grant Deed recorded June 15, 1964, in Book 7088, Pages 668 and
669 of Official Records, lying within the boundaries of Lot 22 of Tract 2111, Book 61, Pages 46, 47,
and 48 of Miscellaneous Maps of Orange County, California, as shown in Exhibit "A" and, attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized
and directed, to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder
of the County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date the certified copy of this
Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange, the vacation shall be
complete, and the public service easements vacated shall no longer constitute public service
easements.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 27thday of November 2007, by the following roll call vote:
