RES-2008-025RESOLUTION NO. 2008- 025 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY OF AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING OF NINETEEN IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS UNDER THE COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAM. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to implement the transportation improvement projects shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto; and WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has been declared by the Orange County Transportation Authority "OCTA to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M "turnback" funds; and WHEREAS, the Circulation Element of the General Plan of the City of Anaheim is consistent with the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways "MPAH and WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will provide matching funds for each project as required by the Orange County Combined Transportation Funding Program Procedures Manual; and WHEREAS, the OCTA intends to allocate funds for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County of Orange; and WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will not use Measure M funds to supplant Developer Fees or other commitments; and WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will use Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Funding as a supplement to their existing pavement management program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: 1. The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby requests the Orange County Transportation Authority to allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City of Anaheim's application from the Combined Transportation Funding Programs.
