A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIAL
PROVISONS PREPARED BY ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD
CONTROL DISTRICT FOR THE SANTA ANA RIVER
INTERCEPTOR SEWER (SARI) RELOCATION: SARI
MAINLINE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District proposes to construct the
Santa Ana River Interceptor (SARI) Sewer Relocation: SARI Mainline Project, which includes a
construction staging area within the City of Anaheim (hereinafter "Project "); and
WHEREAS, the Public Contract Code of the State of California, Section 21020.9,
provides in part that the plans and specifications for any work proposed to be done, or
improvements to be made, under the act, in any municipality in the Orange County Flood
Control District shall first be approved by the legislative body of the municipality before
commencement of the work or improvements, and before any contract be let; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim has reviewed the plans and
special provisions for the construction of the SARI Mainline Project and recommends approval
by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim hereby approves the plans and special provisions for the SARI Relocation: SARI
Mainline Project and authorizes the City Engineer to take such action in conformance with this
approval as is necessary to allow OCFCD to proceed with the Project.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 12t hday of April , 2011, by the following roll call vote:
