A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF WATER STREET
EASTERLY OF OLIVE STREET (Abandonment No. 00-
9A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by
law; and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of March, 2001, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that
portion of Water Street, extending easterly of Olive Street,
particularly described as follows:
See Exhibit A attached hereto;
provided, however, that this action shall serve only to terminate
the rights of the public to use said street, highway, or public
service easement and shall not be construed to convey or relin-
quish any property interest of the City of Anaheim in and to said
street, highway or public service easement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.

EXHIBIT "A"
That property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as:
The southerly 22.25 feet of Block A, of the Re-Subdivision of Theodore Reiser's
Subdivision of Vineyard Lot G-2, Anaheim, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
1, Page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County.
Excepting therefrom the westerly 10 feet conveyed to the City of Anaheim, by
Deed recorded February 24, 1914 in Book 247, Page 68 of Deeds, Records of said
Orange County.
Also Excepting and Reserving therefrom an easement unto the City of Anaheim
for Public Utilities Purposes over, under, along, across, and above all of the land
above described.
