A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF SEQUOIA
STREET LYING ADJACENT TO PROPERTY LOCATED AT
2200 SEQUOIA STREET. (Abandonment No. 2000-
25)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by
law; and
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of April, 2001, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that
portion of Sequoia Street described as follows:
See Exhibit A attached hereto,
provided, however, that this action shall serve only to terminate
the rights of the public to use said street, highway, or public
service easement and shall not be construed to convey or
relinquish any property interest of the City of Anaheim in and to
said street, highway or public service easement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Orange upon completion of all
conditions set forth herein, if any.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the

EXHIBIT A
That certain property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described in that certain GRANT DEED recorded December 1, 1997
as instrument number 19970615537 in the Office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County,
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING therefrom an easement unto the City of
Anaheim for Public Utilities Purposes over, under, above, along, and across all of
the land above described, together with all rights of ingress and egress.
ALSO EXCEPTING AND RESERVING therefrom unto Southern California Gas
Company, an easement to construct, place, operate, inspect, maintain, repair,
replace, and remove gas line facilities and appurtenances within the area
described above, together with rights of ingress and egress. Said reservation to
Southern California Gas Company is subordinate to the above easement reserved
unto the City of Anaheim.
