A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING THE WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT
TITLE I MASTER SUBGRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR
THE TERM OF APRIL 1, 2011 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2013
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim (the "City ") has been designated by the Governor of the
State of California as a Local Workforce Investment Area under the Workforce Investment Act (the
"WIA "); and
WHEREAS, the City is entitled to receive certain funds under the WIA; and
WHEREAS, the State of California requires the approval of a subgrant agreement in order for
the City to be eligible to receive these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval of Master Subgrant Agreement. That certain WIA Subgrant Agreement No.
K282469 (the "WIA Master Subgrant Agreement ") which (i) is on file with the City Clerk as of the
date of this Resolution and (ii) allocates funds in the amount of Nine Hundred Seventy -Seven
Thousand Six Hundred Fifty -One Dollars ($977,651) to the City of Anaheim, is hereby approved.
Section 2. City Manager Authorization. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the
Master Subgrant Agreement, modifications thereto and related documents on behalf of the City.

CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THIS SEVENTH (7 DAY OF JUNE, 2011 BY
THE FOLLOWING ROLL CALL VOTE:
